UFL on Fox Business Channel

ufl_logoNow for the UFL news — UFL Founder Bill Hambrecht and UFL Commissioner Michael Huyghue appeared on the Fox Business Channel this morning and discussed some of the particulars of the league. They expect to make an announcement regarding teams, owners, GM’s and such during Super Bowl week, and kickoff is slated for September 9, 2009.

The UFL will sign players beginning March 1st — the start of NFL free agency. Interestingly enough, Huyghue briefly mentioned there will be a “Vick or No Vick” story or poll up on the UFL website in the near future, so keep an eye out for that.
